How Hoffle stays up

Hoffle runs on a server at home in the Netherlands. Every five minutes everything is copied to a second server in Germany, the one this page runs on. If home stops answering, that server takes over by itself, usually within three minutes, and hands back once home is fine again. These checks run from Germany every 30 seconds, through Cloudflare, the same way your browser reaches Hoffle. More in “Is this going to stick around?”
